Recreation is a way for modern humans to release the stress from work, school an problems. It is not time spent on doing productive things, but rather things that are enjoyable and fun. It is never wasted time.
Outdoor Activities
These activities are done outside the home. These category may include playing sports, strolling at the beach or the park, watching theater or cinema, watching sport events, going to concerts and travelling.
These activites require you to travel to other places to enjoy the activity. You won’t be continuously idle for some time and allow you to move your body. These activities are best enjoyed during fair weather or when there is no national crisis that limits your activity.

Indoor Activities
These activities are done inside the home. These are mostly done with the family to bond with each other. Indoor activites may include, watching movies in the living room, indoor workouts, yoga, cooking, playing board games, gardening, household chores, reading books, listening to music and playing with your pets.
These activities strengthen the bond of your family if you do it with them. Doing these recreational activities can improve self-peace and mindfulness. These activities are usually done during bad weather conditions or during the pandemic quarantine where going out is prohibited.

These activities can be considered a break from stress and work. Doing these can help improve mental health as well as physical and emotional health. Sometimes all we need is a short break from work in order to continue efficiently and productively.
